Enjoy a day at the beach!
Judge James H. Lincoln Memorial Park
Judge James H. Lincoln Park is at the east end of Trescott Street, just a short walk from downtown and located on the Harbor View Trail.
The park has a nice sandy swimming beach, playground equipment, a picnic shelter, picnic tables, grills, a massive grass area, and restrooms.
A lengthy pier, called Trescott Street Pier, extends from the parking area, offering a scenic view of the lighthouse and Lake Huron. Watch freighters pass by, do some fishing, or just take a stroll on the pier.
Inside the break wall, very near the shoreline, you will find 3 shallow water shipwrecks to explore. A kayak can be launched from the north side of the park, but please do not block the traffic circle while unloading. Learn more about watersports here.
